This photo appeals to all my senses.
Normally they warn for food sold on the streets, but i think all this fried food is safe.
The food that is not cooked and has touched water (fruits, salads, ice cream etc) is mostly not safe.
Unless you have a stomach made of iron...
Please be careful, once you get sick, you can be very, very sick.

(Or should that be: once you get sikh, you got very sikh? True just the same!)

Naturally, it's the UNHEALTHY food that's safe. )-:

I read in my Lonely Planet Guide on India that the sliced fruit sold on the streets prmiarily is unsafe (and they often splash water on it to make it appear more fresh than it is), but whole fruits should be okay.

Has this been the case in your experience?
